“ Great place for a quick meal or afternoon tea. The menu isn't extensive but the quality is good, portions for jacket potatoes were large, prices are competitive and you get waitress service. We went for jacket potato with a pot of house tea with loads of extra water. On day we went, they were only taking cash. Problems with card readers. ”
“ Nice little tea room with great food ”
“ We had the Afternoon tea for two Everything was super fresh and delicious The ladies that served us were amazing We had super weather so we could eat outside in the sun Would definitely recommend a trip just for the food ”
“ Came here with a friend for a late lunch and we stayed all afternoon, the place was lovely and immersed in nature. Relaxing atmosphere, the staff was kind and the afternoon tea was very well presented and high quality. Good choices of sandwich fillings and bread, also for vegetarian and vegan - and good coffee! Definitely recommend for a self-care day away from the noise of the city ”
“ We were here on a beautiful sunny day in early spring that was still a little cool so were seated inside. Service was prompt and we ordered tea and fruit scones. We were served large scones with a generous side of clotted cream and a small package of jam. Both the tea and scone were delicious. Nice surroundings for a pleasant afternoon snack break. ”
“ Nice little tearoom - emphasis on the little - in the Botanical Gardens, close by the Kibble Palace. In the colder, wetter months you may well have to wait for a table. Fortunately, there is a coffee trailer by the main gate (and coffee shops just across the road outside). Good selection of tasty sandwiches. ”
“ Very good sandwiches , cakes and tea. You can get hot water for a second flush of tea 3 ”
“ Staff are very welcoming, we had a little wait though but was well worth it! Nice rustic decor and simple menu. The soup was lentil and can honestly say it was the nicest I've ever had. Pastries was divine and really big. ”
